Biomaterials Engineering, Disease Modeling, Embryo Modeling, Medical Devices

We develop biomaterials and use these materials, in combination with stem cells and a variety of engineering approaches, to develop products and tools to understand, detect, and cure diseases. Our research is highly interdisciplinary, and we have established extensive collaborations with people on campus, including several laboratories in the Stem Cell Institute and people in clinical practice.
